New builds
Where a pond goes matters more than how it looks on day one. Full sun cooks it and feeds algae; directly under a tree fills it with leaf litter every autumn. We work out the position, depth and shape around the garden you already have, and around whether you want fish, wildlife, or both.
Excavation, shelving for marginal planting, underlay and liner fitted without stress points, edging finished so the liner never shows. Then the part most ponds get wrong: filtration and pumping sized against the actual volume and the intended stocking, not whatever the box at the garden centre claimed.
Rescues and restorations
Pea-green water, blanket weed choking everything, a pump that hasn't been stripped in three years. All of it is fixable, and usually the underlying cause is one of three things: an undersized filter, too much sunlight, or too many fish for the volume. We find out which before selling you anything.
Seasonal maintenance
Ponds want different things at different times of year — a spring start-up, steady attention through summer, a proper autumn clear-down before leaf fall, and light checks over winter with the pump and heater set appropriately. We schedule around that rather than turning up on the same day every month regardless.
